doubled back suddenly into an empty room and felt early

for my cue. that’s what i want to be rid of. would like to move

from east to west coast. start again with the gravity of this country

on the other side of me. would like to write out everything so i can close it

in a book. so i don’t have to be who i was five minutes ago.
